For an organization or team, being updated about their system's status and changes made is very important. Also, there are a lot of times when you want to collectively implement a business process using more than one app. For this, you can use webhooks to connect your Orgzit workspace with different applications and keep your team efficient and coordinated.
What are Webhooks?
Webhooks are automated messages sent from apps when something happens. It is triggered when a specific event occurs. That means you can set up a Webhook to look for a specific update, change, or action to occur in your Orgzit workspace and it will automatically push the information you specify to the application you want. In simple words, you can set up a conversation between your workspace in Orgzit with another application using webhooks. Automation using webhooks is a great way to increase the efficiency and productivity of an organization.
To integrate your Orgzit workspace with an application, you will have to perform two tasks:
Get the Webhook URL from the application
Integrate with your Orgzit workspace
(You can check out the integration process with Slack here!)
Integrate with your Orgzit Workspace
To integrate your workspace with an application, move to Workspace Settings, and go to the Webhook Integrations Section.
Name the integration and paste the webhook URL that you copied from your application account.
Once you click on add, you'll be able to select the options for which you want to get notified. You can select create, delete, and update options for Record Notifications, Comment Notifications, Reminder Notifications, and File Notifications.
Once you set this up, you will start receiving messages for the options that you chose.
Using this method, you can easily set up an integration with an app. It will help you stay updated, and increase your system's overall efficiency and productivity.
