Using Filters, users can view records based on specific conditions and look at different views of their data. Data can be filtered on the basis of values as well as conditions.
Filters can help you if:
- You want to look at data entries created before/after a particular date.
- You want to look at values that meet specific criteria. Eg. sales orders with amount > 10,000 or sales orders with status = delivered.
- You want to look at data that meet multiple conditions like the ones mentioned above.
You can filter your data with as many conditions as required, but putting these conditions every time you want to look at a particular view of your data can be cumbersome. To solve this, Orgzit provides an option to Save a Filter, for future use. This feature saves the time and effort required to apply the filters all over again when required.
You can apply filters by clicking on the Filter option at the top of your Table. You can set the required values/conditions there and apply the Filter.
Once you apply a filter, you can save it for the future by clicking on the Saved Filters button. You can name the Filter and save it in your list of Saved Filters.
Now, you can quickly look at your filtered data view by selecting your saved filter instead of applying the conditions all over again!
Viewing Saved Filters
To view a saved filter, go to the Saved Filters button and click on the relevant filter from the drop-down list of saved filters.
Deleting Saved Filters
To delete a saved filter, go to the Saved Filters button and click on the trashcan next to the filter name from the drop-down list of saved filters.
